Since the beginning of the Covid-19 quarantine, I’ve been painting my experience at home with my partner and two dogs. These started as intimate portraits that showed the confinement of the pandemic, but also the comfort, joy, and relief that my home provided me. As the pandemic progressed, spending time outdoors was encouraged, and I cherished the time spent on walks and at parks with my dogs. My pandemic pets helped me cope with this anxiety-inducing time.
