In this series I am referencing nineteenth-century French, academic works yet imbuing them with a modern twist. I have replaced certain aspects of these famous works with modern equivalents or antitheses in order to comment on not only how far women have come but also what we still have yet to overcome. These three works are just the beginning, I plan to create many more.
